Set 5 blocks across and 6 blocks down with
a 6" Border.
Go thru your scrap box and cut scraps into
the following sizes
3" X 3" Squares (each block
uses 4)
3" X 5 1/2" Rectangles (each
block uses 2)
3" X 10 1/2" Rectangles (each
block uses 2)
Construct blocks using scraps cut into the
above sizes, being sure that each piece in each block is different.
Keep in mind that this is a 'Scrap Quilt'. (See pattern below)
Construct blocks and assemble by sewing 5
blocks across and 6 rows down.
Assemble as described above and add a coordinating
6" Border.
1. Make a four patch unit
2. Sew a 3 x 5 1/2" rectangle to the top and to the bottom
of the 4-patch unit.
3. Sew a 3" x 10 1/2" rectangle to the sides of
the unit.
Sew 5 blocks across X 6 blocks down, being sure to flip flop
your
square as illustrated below.
Add a 6" Border all the way around.
