Janome Introduces the NEW HORIZON 7700 QCP
|
| Janome introduces Horizon 7700 QCP With the introduction of the Horizon 7700 QCP sewing and quilting machine, Janome America marks a high point of its 150th anniversary year. The machine is designed to give quilting and sewing enthusiasts greater ease and creativity in the construction of quilts and other large projects. Featuring a work area with 11" of space between the needle and the body of the machine, the machine is aptly named Horizon. The wide-open design offers a free arm nearly a foot long. Janome equipped the machine with five ultra-bright LED lamps, offering a sewing experience easier on the eyes and more relaxing to the operator. According to Randy Thomas, Vice President of Janome America Sales and Marketing, the Horizon is part of a long tradition of sewing innovation. "This machine follows in the footsteps of the Memory Craft 6600P, one of our most successful models ever," says Thomas. "We took all the great things about that machine, and added a host of innovative features." The Horizon sews through multiple layers of fabric using Janome's unique AcuFeed Layered Fabric Feeding System, which feeds multiple layers of fabric in perfect sync. The machine's 250 stitches are quickly accessed by spinning a tactile jog dial. The machine is able to produce complex stitches with such a long arm because of a highly rigid aluminum frame, ensuring stability even at high speeds. The Automatic Plate Converter (APC) changes a regular needle plate into a specialized straight stitch needle plate at the push of a button. For easier measurement while sewing, the Horizon has a patented set of plate markings, which incorporate angles, needle drops, cornering guides and seam lines. The Horizon offers the extra space and specialized functions to allow sewists to fully enjoy their sewing and quilting projects. |
