- Rosie's Calico Cupboard
- 'Left Overs' Scrap Quilt
- This is the pattern that we used
for our
- Camp Reach for the Sky 2002 Quilts
-
- Looking for a way to use up all those wonderful
'left overs'?
- This quilt is fun, fast and easy.
- Make it out of Regular Cotton or Flannel
like the quilt pictured.

- Acrylic Tumbler Template is available
for purchase
- from Rosie's Calico Cupboard
-
Price $6.95, plus $2.00 shipping and handling.
-
- Hint: If you do not pre-wash your flannel, be sure to make
your quilt 10" larger
- all the way around to allow for shrinkage.
-
- You can make this quilt as small or as large
as you wish.
- Mine is 21 Tumblers Across and 17 Rows Down.
-
- For my quilt I collected (40) 5 1/2"
Strips.
- Be sure to cut strips accurately.
- Remember you can use your scraps as long
as the template fits on the fabric that
you are using.
- When using strips, place tumbler on strips
and begin cutting them, flip flopping the template as you cut.
-
- Once quilt is the size you wish, you can
add a border if you want. You will have to trim off the sides.
- I chose to add a black framer and a scrappy
border and a scrappy binding.
-
-
- I assembled the quilt top pictured
in one afternoon.
- This quilt goes very quickly.
- I spent one afternoon sorting and cutting
my fabric.
-
- Have fun!
